Prototype and Sample Manufacturing Before Volume Production
Start with an engineering sample. Test and qualify the component in your application before committing to volume production. Low-risk first order, same supplier for repeat BOM supply.
From Drawing to Repeat BOM Supply
A structured process from first drawing submission to ongoing repeat production. Each step is designed to reduce risk and ensure the component meets your requirements before volume commitment.
Send Drawing or Specification
Upload your DWG, DXF, STEP, PDF or dimensioned sketch. Describe your application and material requirements.
Engineering Review
Our team reviews the drawing, confirms material selection, manufacturing process and any technical questions.
Material & Process Confirmation
We confirm the material grade, surface treatment, tolerances and manufacturing method before quoting.
Sample Quotation
You receive a sample quotation with lead time. Typical sample lead time is 2–4 weeks depending on complexity.
Prototype Manufacturing
We manufacture the engineering sample to your drawing. Dimensional inspection is performed before shipment.
Customer Qualification
You test and qualify the sample in your application. We support any technical questions during qualification.
Small Batch Order
Once qualified, we proceed to small batch production. Typically 10–100 pieces for initial production.
Repeat BOM Production
Ongoing repeat production for your BOM. Consistent quality, same manufacturing process, same supplier.
Component Types Available for Sampling

Why Start With a Sample?
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an engineering sample?
An engineering sample is a small quantity of components manufactured to your drawing or specification for testing and qualification before volume production. It allows you to verify fit, form and function before committing to a larger order.
How long does a sample take?
Typical sample lead time is 2–4 weeks depending on component complexity and material availability. We will confirm the lead time when we provide the sample quotation.
What is the cost of an engineering sample?
Sample pricing depends on the component type, material, complexity and quantity. We will provide a sample quotation after reviewing your drawing. There is no charge for the engineering review.
Can I order a single piece?
Yes. We support single-piece engineering samples for most component types. Some complex assemblies may require a minimum of 2–5 pieces.
What happens after the sample is qualified?
Once you qualify the sample, we proceed to small batch production and then repeat BOM supply. The same manufacturing process and supplier are used throughout, ensuring consistent quality.
Is my drawing kept confidential?
Yes. We treat all customer drawings and specifications as confidential. We do not share your drawings with third parties without your permission.
